The house Paul bought for his dad in July 1964, called Rembrandt, is located on Baskervylle Road in the village of Heswall (about 20 minutes from Liverpool) on the Wirral penninsula, Merseyside. This photo was published in the book, Mike Mac's White and Blacks plus one color. It is one of three from the set of Jane that have been included in his books (also The Macs - Mike McCartney's Family Album, and Remember). The caption for this one, taken in front of the distinctive windows at Rembrandt, says: "A naturally lit portrait of Jane Asher, taken on Merseyside in one of our Liverpool homes." The caption in the book, Remember, wasn't as vague for a similar pose of Jane in front of the same window, "Jane Asher taken at Rembrandt, the house Paul bought for Dad and me in Heswall. She was a big star and I had a shock when I met her for the first time because I'd only seen her on our black-and-white TV. I didn't realize she had bright red hair!"
