May 3rd to May 26th - Jane & Paul went, along with Ringo and girlfriend Maureen, to the Carribeans in 1964. Jane was mostly discovered as Paul's steady girlfriend during this trip (as was Maureen, though Ringo denied it at first, saying she was ''just a friend'' - yeah right ;). This trip made the cover of Confidential magazine with this front line : The teenage girls the Beatles took on holiday. Maureen was (gasp) 16 at the time (going on 17 in August, though) and Jane was 17.

Maureen was 17 in May 1964 - turning 18 on August 4, 1964. Jane had turned 18 on April 5, 1964 - a month before the holiday.
