Third pregnancy for Maureen

Several pictures of Maureen pregnant with Lee. After two wonderful boys (Zak, 1965, Jason, 1967), third time's the charm for a daughter ! Maureen can be seen drinking wine (hey, it wasn't the same in those days...lol). In the first picture, we can see Maurice Gibb (Bee Gees) and his wife Lulu (who were great friends of the Starkey couple).

I think Maureen was really the only Beatle wife (when the Beatles were together) to have her picture taken with her children while in the hospital just after they were born, since Cyn gave birth in ''secret'' (no one knew she was John's wife) and Pattie and Jane didn't have children with their respective beatle husbands. Lee was the first and only daughter for the Starkeys. Funny how you can see that Maureen's ''blond'' hair is quite damaged (the ends) but her more natural brown hair is very healthy (third pic).

Maureen changed up her look a bit post-beatles era and it became quite gothic, what do you think ?

It's Johnny's Birthday

Picture & Screencap (quality's not very good, but it's the best I've found so far...) of a video for John's 31st birthday. We can see that Maureen's hair is back to being black, though the ends are blond (she was blond in 1969).

Pictures were taken by Robert Freeman, the Beatles photographer at the time. Thanks for ruining the picture George (sixth picture) lol ;) Some of them are quite famous, while others rather unknown.

Carribean holiday : All Together Now

Ringo and his steady Maureen (her parents didn't even know she was on holiday, they thought she was in London, seeing Ringo...fortunatly for her, her parents weren't mad, saying she was ''a sensible girl, very mature'') along with Paul and actress girlfriend Jane Asher went to the Carribeans in 1964.

Carribean holiday : Jane & Paul

May 3rd to May 26th - Jane & Paul went, along with Ringo and girlfriend Maureen, to the Carribeans in 1964. Jane was mostly discovered as Paul's steady girlfriend during this trip (as was Maureen, though Ringo denied it at first, saying she was ''just a friend'' - yeah right ;). This trip made the cover of Confidential magazine with this front line : The teenage girls the Beatles took on holiday. Maureen was (gasp) 16 at the time (going on 17 in August, though) and Jane was 17.

Climax Club 1970

Maureen and Ringo in 1970 went to the Magic Christian's (Ringo starred in the movie) post-premiere party. According to several books, they were definitely the Beatle couple that went out and about the most.
