In honor of Maureen’s birthday (it was yesterday actually). She would’ve been 70 ! :(

Today we remember beautiful Cynthia Lennon, who passed away on April 1st, 2015. 

I can’t believe it’s been one year already. She was such a sweet, caring person. 

Here's a quote that Beatles' Wives & Girls shared, I thought it captured Cyn's essence perfectly :

"The closest person in my life, who is everything for me, who guided me and who helped me find myself, was my mother. She was always that kind of person that let you resolve your problems yourself. I mean, if you really couldn't do it she would help. But I had to figure out things myself and that was important, she sort of let me be ."

Our dearly beloved Maureen passed away 21 years ago, on December 30, 1994

This is a very sad day for us Beatle girls fans,
Cynthia passed away today (April 1st), after a short battle with cancer.
She was 75. Julian was at her side. 

Here is the official statement : "Cynthia Lennon passed away today at her home in Mallorca, Spain following a short but brave battle with cancer. Her son Julian Lennon was at her bedside throughout. The family are thankful for your prayers. Please respect their privacy at this difficult time".

I'm really speechless. I never thought she would leave us so soon... May she rest in peace, beautiful soul. She's with her husband Noel now, her friend Mo, and with John... 

Singer Lynsey De Paul died of a brain haemorrhage yesterday, at age 64. She was once a girlfriend of Ringo, during the 70s. Her death was very unexpected as she didn't drink or smoke and was a vegetarian. For more info (x)

Today is the 19th anniversay of Maureen's death.
